TRACKS
CYBERSECURITY
Focuses on safeguarding systems, networks, and data from digital threats. Key objectives include developing solutions for stronger cybersecurity infrastructure, threat detection, and user awareness. Cybersecurity is critical to protect against financial losses, reputational damage, and regulatory penalties.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Simulates human intelligence processes using computer systems. Key objectives include developing AI solutions for healthcare, finance, transportation, and education. AI enables predictive analytics, personalized recommendations, and automation.
BLOCKCHAIN
Decentralized technology ensuring secure and transparent transactions. Key objectives include exploring blockchain applications in supply chain, healthcare, and digital identity. Blockchain can revolutionize processes by improving data security and transactional transparency.
ROBOTICS
Involves designing and operating robots for various applications. Key objectives include developing innovative robotic solutions, addressing ethical concerns, and improving human-robot collaboration. Robotics drives efficiency and innovation in manufacturing, healthcare, and more.
OPEN INNOVATION
Involves sharing and collaborating on ideas across boundaries. Key objectives include encouraging collaboration, idea sharing, and cultivating a culture of openness and trust. Leveraging external expertise accelerates innovation and problem-solving.
INTERNET OF THINGS
Connects devices embedded with sensors and software to collect and exchange data. Key objectives include improving decision-making, resource utilization, and user experiences through IoT applications. IoT drives operational efficiency and data-driven insights across industries.
AR/VR
Technologies offer immersive experiences by overlaying digital content or creating virtual environments. Key objectives include exploring AR/VR applications in gaming, education, healthcare, and more. AR/VR enhances user engagement and productivity.
CRYPTOGRAPHY
Involves techniques for secure communication and data protection. Key objectives include enhancing data security, privacy, and trust with advanced cryptographic solutions. Cryptography is essential for protecting against cyber threats and ensuring secure transactions.
DEEP FAKE
Creates realistic but fake images, videos, or audio using AI. Key objectives include exploring implications on society, media, and security, and developing detection and prevention methods. Deep Fakes raise concerns about misinformation and public trust.
About SoarX JMI
Founded in March 2024, SoarX JMI is a technical society dedicated to empowering students through a variety of educational opportunities. Our mission is to enhance students' knowledge and skills by organizing insightful sessions, webinars, and bootcamps led by experts from multinational corporations (MNCs).
We also provide industrial visits to various events and corporate offices, helping students gain practical exposure and upskill themselves in real-world environments
Since our inception, we have hosted several impactful sessions, including "AI Using ChatGPT," and arranged five visits to Microsoft, benefiting over 100 students. Our entrepreneurship initiatives include visits to Bhashini Connect and workshops such as the Postman API Workshop. We've also organized WebinarFest and an offline event, "Master Class on DSA," in collaboration with Coding Blocks. Additionally, we have had the honor of inviting speakers from Amazon to our campus.
At SoarX JMI, our goal is to leverage these opportunities to prepare students for successful careers in the tech industry and beyond.
Rounds Details
Round 1
In this round, all the teams have to submit their idea related to the themes of the hackathon. They will submit their idea in form of PDF whose format is given in the website. The teams will be judged based upon the creativity, uniqueness and usefulness of their project or idea. Teams selected in this round will go to the next round
Round 2
In this round, (which is suppose to take place after about 20 days of first round) the teams need to submit a Demo of their project.All the selected teams have to upload a video file showing the clear working of their demo.Teams selected in this round will go to the finals.
Round 3
All the finalist teams have to implement their proposed idea in this round in person. A review committee of experienced judges will look over this round so that there is no discrepancy and biasness. After the implementation, the teams are required to submit their codebase inside a .zip file, on our platform. The results will be declared about 20 days after the final round
